The Environmental Trust Fund provides assistance for projects which fit at least one of the following priority areas:

• Protecting our environment
• Managing waste
• Climate change

Projects may support climate adaptation through land-use planning, protecting valuable ecosystems, nature-based solutions, managing waste responsibly, and more.

Local governments, municipalities, First Nations, non-profit organizations and institutions furthering sustainable development are encouraged to apply.
