Il s\u2019agit notamment de changements au niveau de la s\u00e9cheresse et de l\u2019humidit\u00e9, des vents, de la neige, de la glace et de la pluie, de l\u2019\u00e9rosion et des inondations dans les zones c\u00f4ti\u00e8res, et de l\u2019augmentation des temp\u00e9ratures dans nos oc\u00e9ans.<\/p>\n<p>Les changements climatiques entra\u00eenent des pr\u00e9cipitations plus intenses et les inondations qui en d\u00e9coulent. Les r\u00e9gions c\u00f4ti\u00e8res comme le Canada atlantique conna\u00eetront une \u00e9l\u00e9vation continue du niveau de la mer tout au long du XXIe si\u00e8cle, ce qui contribuera \u00e0 des inondations c\u00f4ti\u00e8res plus fr\u00e9quentes et plus graves dans les zones de faible altitude et qui contribuera \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9rosion c\u00f4ti\u00e8re. Les \u00e9v\u00e9nements extr\u00eames li\u00e9s au niveau de la mer, qui se produisaient auparavant une fois tous les 100 ans, pourraient se produire chaque ann\u00e9e d\u2019ici la fin du si\u00e8cle.<\/p>\n<p>Les modifications des oc\u00e9ans, notamment le r\u00e9chauffement, l\u2019augmentation de la fr\u00e9quence des vagues de chaleur marine, l\u2019acidification des oc\u00e9ans et la r\u00e9duction des niveaux d\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne, affectent \u00e0 la fois les \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes oc\u00e9aniques et les personnes qui en d\u00e9pendent, et ces modifications se poursuivront au moins pendant le reste du si\u00e8cle.<\/p>\n<p>Pour les villes, certains aspects des changements climatiques peuvent \u00eatre amplifi\u00e9s, notamment la chaleur (puisque les zones urbaines sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement plus chaudes que leur p\u00e9riph\u00e9rie), les inondations dues \u00e0 de fortes pr\u00e9cipitations et l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9vation du niveau de la mer dans les villes c\u00f4ti\u00e8res.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les conditions d&#8217;aujourd&#8217;hui ne seront pas celles de demain. Au Canada atlantique, les principaux impacts associ\u00e9s directement aux changements climatiques sont les inondations c\u00f4ti\u00e8res et l&#8217;\u00e9rosion du littoral, mais la liste ci-dessous a \u00e9galement un impact sur certaines r\u00e9gions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=&#8221;https:\/\/climatlantic.ca\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Fig-1.6-FR.png&#8221; Bien que les cercles scientifiques et politiques reconnaissent que ces deux ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes sont interconnect\u00e9s, dans la pratique, ils sont largement trait\u00e9s en vases clos. Les temp\u00e9ratures extr\u00eamement chaudes deviendront plus fr\u00e9quentes et plus intenses en raison des changements climatiques.
