L\u2019intrusion d\u2019eau sal\u00e9e a d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 document\u00e9e dans certaines r\u00e9gions, et les pressions combin\u00e9es de l\u2019intensification du d\u00e9veloppement c\u00f4tier et de l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9vation pr\u00e9vue du niveau de la mer sugg\u00e8rent que le probl\u00e8me ne fera que s\u2019aggraver \u00e0 l\u2019avenir.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.21.0&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Adaptation<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><b>Qu\u2019est-ce que l\u2019adaptation c\u00f4ti\u00e8re ?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L&#8217;adaptation c\u00f4ti\u00e8re consiste \u00e0 apporter des changements le long de la c\u00f4te afin de r\u00e9duire les impacts de l&#8217;\u00e9rosion et des inondations et de minimiser les risques pour les communaut\u00e9s. L&#8217;adaptation c\u00f4ti\u00e8re peut impliquer la planification de l&#8217;utilisation des terres, l&#8217;installation d&#8217;infrastructures techniques, l&#8217;utilisation d&#8217;atouts naturels tels que les plages, les dunes et les zones humides pour contrer les impacts des ondes de temp\u00eate et des pr\u00e9cipitations importantes, ou une combinaison de ces \u00e9l\u00e9ments. Une combinaison de ces \u00e9l\u00e9ments constitue souvent une approche d&#8217;adaptation plus compl\u00e8te.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>La planification de l\u2019affectation des terres, l\u2019ing\u00e9nierie et les approches bas\u00e9es sur la nature offrent une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019options d\u2019adaptation. Il faut toutefois des outils pr\u00e9cis sur les risques d\u2019inondation afin de r\u00e9duire ou d\u2019\u00e9viter les risques d\u2019inondation futurs pour les collectivit\u00e9s et les infrastructures c\u00f4ti\u00e8res.<\/li>\n<li>Les approches \u00ab non invasives \u00bb (par exemple, la restauration du littoral \u00e0 l\u2019aide de plantes) sont reconnues par les praticiens des \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes c\u00f4tiers comme \u00e9tant plus r\u00e9silientes et plus rentables \u00e0 long terme. La bonne solution veut souvent dire choisir une option d&#8217;adaptation qui est appropri\u00e9e pour le site ou l&#8217;infrastructure sp\u00e9cifique. Les conditions environnementales du syst\u00e8me c\u00f4tier local doivent \u00e9galement \u00eatre prises en consid\u00e9ration.
