En raison des gaz \u00e0 effet de serre lib\u00e9r\u00e9s dans l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re depuis de nombreuses ann\u00e9es, la simple r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions ne suffit plus \u00e0 pr\u00e9venir les pires effets des changements climatiques.<\/p>\n

Il faut donc s\u2019adapter, ce qui constitue la cl\u00e9 pour g\u00e9rer les risques et \u00e9viter les pires sc\u00e9narios li\u00e9s aux changements climatiques.<\/p>\n

Les impacts du r\u00e9chauffement de la plan\u00e8te sont l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9vation du niveau de la mer, les inondations \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur des terres, les ondes de temp\u00eate, l\u2019intrusion d\u2019eau sal\u00e9e, la perte de biodiversit\u00e9, l\u2019augmentation des chaleurs extr\u00eames, la s\u00e9cheresse et l\u2019\u00e9rosion. Il est possible de r\u00e9duire, voire d\u2019\u00e9viter, l\u2019ampleur des dommages caus\u00e9s par ces perturbations. Le co\u00fbt de la pr\u00e9vention est bien moindre que celui des mesures prises en r\u00e9action apr\u00e8s coup.<\/p>\n
